My Digital Studio

I started working on another album yesterday. I am really loving My Digital Studio. I am not a big scrapbooker but with this program I am finally going to do something with all of the pictures I have. SCRAPBOOKS! Whoo Hooo!

I chose Rock A Bye as my template this time. I could of easily just imported my pictures and left it as is but I love being able to personalize the pages. Now in the original there is not a pink layout but that is easy to change by using the arrange - background option. I haven't done the text yet, I want to wait until I get all the pages laid out.

I also started working on a Calendar last night for next year. I think these will make wonderful gifts for Christmas.

I'll be back tomorrow with a card or two. It is time to get into the ink!

My First Digital Studio Album!

I just finished my first album and sent it off to Stampin' Up! professional printer services. I can't wait to get it back. I made it for my upline, Joann Wiemers for her as a memory book for her year on the Advisory Board and the last 2 Conventions. I had so much fun working on this project! I got the pictures set up in a couple of hours and could of sent it in right then but I had to play with the program to see what it could do for several days. You have so many options with this program and the professionally designed templates are awesome!

We actually ate dessert for dinner one night in Park City, UT. this year in our mini vacation before convention at the White Horse Restaurant. Mmmmm....

What a Wonderful Week!

Last week was fall break here in Alabama so Becki and I took the girls to Gatlinburg for 3 days. The weather was wonderful and the girls had a wonderful time. We went shopping, ate, went shopping and took a trip into the Smokies. As we were coming out of the Smokies a mama bear crossed the road with her 2 cubs. Gatlinburg was decorated with scarecrows all over the town, makes me want to gather the supplies and make one for my yard this week. In case you are wanting to go to Gatlinburg to see the leaves change, it is way too early. There were a few yellows but that is about all. I would wait another 2 weeks to go there for leave change season.

Look at this pumpkin! We never did figure out what it was made from. That is a real house behind it!

Halloween Cards

I love Halloween and making Halloween cards. I like to make sure each one contains a surprise of some kind when you open it.

Catching Up!

What's that you say? I just realized it has been since Sept. 20 when I last posted. Baby Isabella was born and is just beautiful! I need to work on her announcement this week and will share it soon. Yesterday I did a craft show in downtown Madison. It was an awesome day! The weather was fantastic and everyone had a great time. It started off with a parade before the craft show opened so we had a front row seat. We did a drawing for 3 free stamp set and Vicky N. of Madison was our winner. There was a car show and we entered our Corvette so Becki's husband Jim could have fun also. There were bands in the bandstand all day so we hade life entertainment. There was a Artist's Alley and a children's area where they could do crafts and there were also blow up inflatables.
