Halloween Pumpkin Treat Bag

Project Halloween Pumpkin Treat Bag
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Creepy Crawly DP, Black, White Whisper (Note: CS stands for cardstock)
Ink: Black, Really Rust
Stamp Set: Autumn Apparitions, Linen Background Stamp
Other Items Used: 3 lb. bag for inside, Pumpkin Pie Ribbon, Punches for Pumpkins and cutting handle

How to make the bag: Cut a sheet of pumpkin pie CS in half so you have 2 - 5 1/2 pieces. Use a tag punch to cut the handle out on both pieces. Using Really Rust stamp the front of each piece with the Linen Background stamp of the pumpkin pie CS.

Cut a piece of black CS 3 3/4 x 5 1/4. Cut a piece of Creepy Crawly DP 5 x 3 1/2. Cut a piece of whisper white CS 2 3/4 x 4 1/4.

Sponge the edge of the white CS with Really Rust.

Punch 6 small oval circles and 3 large oval circles with Stampin Up! punches. Cut 3 stars using the star punch out of a green CS for the pumpkin stems. Sponge the edges of the ovals with Really Rust.

Stamp the white CS with 2 spiders.

Using snail adhesive attach the 3 large ovals and a star (to make the stem) to the white CS. Then do the same using 3 of the small ovals and a star. Stamp 1 more spider on the large pumpkin, be careful as you do this as the paper is uneven. If you need to, use your black blender pen to fill in any spots. Now stamp your cat.

Attach the Creepy Crawly DP using snail adhesive to the black CS. Attach the white CS. Now add the final pumpkin using the remaining 3 ovals and a star. Attach this entire piece to the bag using snail adhesive. Stamp Happy Halloween across the bottom of the bag.

Measure up to the handle of the CS. Now measure your bag. Cut off the top if you need to of the bag so it won't show thru the handle. Attach the bag using sticky tape to each piece of the Pumpkin Pie CS.

Attach a piece of ribbon to close your bag and you are finished!

Just to show what a versatile stamp SU's Autumn Apparitions is, here are just some of the projects I have made with this stamp set. It is in the Holiday Mini catalog. The square with the black ribbon on it is a CD Case that I stamped. That is a chocolate chip cookie inside. The tag on it was made from SU's Batty For You.
