I have been visiting my mom so I will share a few more swap cards with you. I am hoping to spend a little time in my stamp room today. Tomorrow I go to the hospital for my other knee to be replaced so I won't be posting until the end of the week.

Yesterday was our group's shoebox swap. We had a blast! It started at 9:00 and went until almost 8 PM when the last of my friends went home. My cousin even came down from Kentucky! She said she had never stamped before but it didn't show, she did great! We went to the scrapbook store that afternoon where we all bought some Magpie storage cabinets with the inserts for more than 60% off! I got the pink inserts and can't wait to fill it later today. I'll show you a picture when I get it up because I know it can be ordered online. It is perfect for those little things that I never know how to store. We topped it off the day by going for hot wings at one of my fav restaurants. We really had a Fab Day! Over the next few weeks I will share some of those cards with you. Here is my swap card.

This is my favorite card at the moment! I am so about lots of layers and bling! The designer paper is our Green Tea and the stamp set is Eastern Blooms. I used Dazzling Diamonds in the centers of the large flowers.

In case you'd noticed I had missed a few days of posting one of the reasons was my uplines (Joann Wiemers) birthday. On Thursday I went with a friend to Joann's studio where we stamped 60 items! We did 20 cards, 20 dimensional items and 20 tags. Joann served lunch to us and we really had a great time. She had set up a cupcake bar where we got to decorate our own cupcake with a variety of toppings. I'll be sharing those items with you also over the coming weeks! Between Stamp Camp, Joann's birthday and our swap I have more than 85 projects done this month! It couldn't come at a better time either because next week I am going in and having my other knee replaced. I am so looking forward to the new year! Getting my knees replaced is one of the best things I have done for myself.

I worked on my swap card for this weekend's Shoebox Swap I am hosting. I had a couple of designs in my head so after I sat down to do them, this is the one I didn't choose. I really liked it but liked the other one better. I will post it after the swap as I know a couple of the girls come here and I don't want them to see it yet.

I did a lot of embossing and several layers on this card.

Last night I made this card as a birthday card for my upline, Joann Wiemers. She is absolutely the best upline anyone could have. She will share anything with you and always has words of encouragement. She also was the one who taught me cut rubber but that's a long story! I love the colors Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze together. I hope she loves her card!

I made this card on Sunday and had such fun making it. I love owls and they seem to be all over right now.

Isn't he just too stinking cute? I used the Sizzix for almost everything, even the buttons!

The last couple of projects I have done are Christmas so I figured we may as well go with it. We made this Joy Banner at Stamp Camp. It was designed by Kathi Jenkins. This really was the best stamp camp ever and we've had rave reviews from those attending. I will show you our big project later in the week. It was made using the I Wish Simply Scrappin Kit which is currently backordered so I'll wait until it can be ordered to share it.

Back to the Joy Banner, we used our exclusive SU Sizzix Die for the banner, scallops and the letters. No stamping involved! The paper for this banner came from the I Wish Simply Scrappin Kit.
