Project of the Month -

November, 08

I had several projects made to show you and decided this cute little tag holder would make fun gifts to share with your friends, teachers, well just about anyone you need a small gift for. You can make 3 out of a sheet of 12 x 12. We are having a big demo shoebox swap this coming weekend and one of the things I asked the girls to bring were some Christmas Tags for a game we will play. This is what I'm using for it. So if you are coming to the swap hit your back button now! Okay, so I know you won't.

So to start cut a 4 x 12 inch piece of card stock, score every 3 inches.

See the piece laying down? That was the template I made to do the corners. Fold the tag strip. Lay your template down and with a pencil mark a line where you want to cut. Mine is about 1 1/4 inches down at the point. Cut with your paper cutter.

Cut 4 pieces of designer paper 3 x 3 1/4 and score at 1 inch. I used my scallop punch on the edge before folding it over. I used Sticky tape on the back to attach it to the main piece.

Now you are ready to decorate the fronts. I used several stamp sets and stamped on Shimmery White CS. Layer as desired.

To make the tags I cut the big pieces 3 1/4 x 2 inches. The white piece is 3 x 1 3/4 inches. Decorate as desired. Punch holes in the tops and attach ribbon, yarn or even bells. Use your imagination and have fun!
