Today was my creative card making class. We did 11 cards total. Here are a few of the ones we did.

This card uses the Greenhouse Garden stamp which is a 2 step stamping set. I used Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo. The designer paper is from Kaleidoscope.

The cards uses the Wedding Sweet Stamp set. The bottom panel was embossed using the Big Shot. The red is Real Red with Clear Embossing Powder. I also used our White Organza Ribbon and Scallop Punch.

This is another card from class last week. It uses the Medallion background stamp and our new Crushed Curry In Color.

Some Class Cards

July 23, 09

I am leaving for convention next week and have been so busy getting ready and for class this week. I went over to Joann's just to get some time to stamp something other than swaps. I will share a few we did at her class.

This is Razzleleberry Lemonade DSP and the Stamp Set Wedding Sweet inked in Rich Razzleberry. The circle is cut out with the Circle Scissors Plus and the Large Scallop with the Big Shot.

I really love this stamp set, For All That You Do. It is so fun! The stamps are inked with So Saffron and Pumpkin Pie Ink.

This card was made using the Three Little Words stamp set, Cottage Wall DSP, Scallop Edge Punch Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive Inks and Rich Razzleberry Ribbon.

Asian Artistry

July 13, 09

Asian Artistry is a new Level 2 Hostess set. It is a beautiful stamp set and I love the way this card turned out. Kym came over to stamp on Saturday and this is one of the cards we did. We also did a dryer sheet card but you will never see it here, I am not sure what went wrong but it really did!

This main image on this card was done on Vellum and stamped with Stazon. You then use your stylus on the bottom side and rub it gently in the stamped area. There is a layer of designer paper under the image. The designer paper I used is the new Cottage Wall. The paper used was Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive.

I have a couple of card classes coming up in the Huntsville, AL. area.. Let me know if you can join us. To view the classes click here.

Greenhouse Garden Card

July 10, 09

My new stamps arrived and on what fun to unpack the boxes!!! It is always fun to decide which stamp set to use first. I loved this set when I first saw it in the catalog so Greenhouse Garden was my choice. It is a 2 step stamping set and I love the results. I made a card for my aunt who is in the hospital and I hope it brightens her day.

Aren't the colors vibrant? I used Melon Mambo, Orchid Opulence, Summer Sun and Turquoise. I stamped on Shimmery White paper.

I have spent the last day working on my recipe site, I have a new feature on it with a blog by Paula Deen. Who can't use new recipes? I hope you enjoy it!

Here are a couple of scrapbook pages Nancy also did,

On this page the letters were cut out using the Big Shot in both Black and Real Real and then overlaid. It looked fantastic
