Project of the Month - Memo Pad

August, 08

I made this as a swap for convention. It would make a great hostess gift or something simple to give to a friend.

The first thing you need to do is to measure your coaster and cut 2 pieces of cardstock to size. Attach cardstock to coaster using a glue stick. Trim corners. Stamp with Riot of Petals in Certainly Celery. You can also use a marker to cover the edges if you desire of the coaster.

The memo pad here is 3 1/2 x 7. Fold in half. Stamp with Fresh Cuts stamp set using Versamark, cover with Clear Emboss Powder. Heat with the heat gun until the embossing powder is shiny and clear. Insert memo pad paper inside. Attach with the clip to coaster when finished. You can cover the clip if desired or tie ribbons on it.

Cut a piece of designer paper 1 1/2 x 1 3/4 for the pen. Wrap it around the pen and use sticky tape to adhere it. Spiral wrap sticky tape around the pen. Dip into Micro Beads to cover the tape.

Tie a matching ribbon and adhere to bottom. I used Tombrow.
